INKS AND MEDIA FOR EPSON PRINTERS
Graphicstar supplies three types of Archival ink for use on Epson printers. All of these inks are made in the UK by Lyson Ltd, the Worlds largest independent manufacturer of ink jet ink, and are supplied in ready to use cartridges compatible for use on many models of Epson printer.
LYSONIC ARCHIVAL INKS AND MEDIA
The award winning Lysonic inks offer unrivalled resistance to fade combined with a wide colour gamut. Designed for the Professional Photographer or Fine Art reproduction printer who wants confidence that their images will last for many years to come. Independent testing of some Lysonic inks have shown an estimated life of upto 120 years in average indoor display conditions without noticeable fade on some media combinations. FOTONIC ARCHIVAL INKS AND MEDIA
The Fotonic ink range combines enhanced resistance to fade combined with the bright vivid colours required for Digital photographic ink jet printing. Full testing has been carried out by Lyson Limited and results have shown a life of upto 30 years in normal indoor display conditions without noticeable fade on some media combinations. QUAD BLACK ARCHIVAL INKS AND MEDIA
Quad Black inks enable a normal four or six colour ink jet printer to produce stunning black and white images with a tonal graduation to match traditional silver halide photographic processes. With a tested display life of in excess of 100 years in average indoor conditions, Quad black inks enable Photographers to produce, for the first time, true black and white prints using a standard ink jet printer. PRINTGUARD OVERSPRAY LACQUER
Printguard is a clear lacquer that, when applied to an ink jet generated print, provides a high level of water resistance and increases the fade resistance of the image. Supplied in a 400 ml aerosol or in bulk for application by spray gun, Printguard provides the extra protection necessary for images that are intended for long term display. A Printguard protected image can be wiped down to remove small blemishes such as fingerprints etc. and special UV quenchers in the lacquer increase fade resistance even further.
